RIP Bill Ochs

The Board of The Northeast Tionól shares the sorrow of all the family and friends of Bill Ochs, who passed away the morning of October 5. Bill, a regular teacher and visitor at The Northeast Tionól, was a piper, reed maker, teacher, and writer who had a tremendous influence on the uilleann piping scene in New York and across the United States. He will be greatly missed.

Advance t-shirt orders are now closed

In order to give our vendor time to print t-shirts in time for the tionól, we've stopped accepting advance orders via the registration form. If you missed the boat, don't worry: we'll have some extras for sale at the event! Reminder: online registration closes on September 30; after that you'll have to register on-site (for an additional $20). Please note that Gavin's is sold out; there should still be rooms nearby at the Rose Motel and the Shamrock House in East Durham.
