RIP Bill Ochs

The Board of The Northeast Tionól shares the sorrow of all the family and friends of Bill Ochs, who passed away the morning of October 5. Bill, a regular teacher and visitor at The Northeast Tionól, was a piper, reed maker, teacher, and writer who had a tremendous influence on the uilleann piping scene in New York and across the United States. He will be greatly missed.

  1. To all who knew or wished they had known Bill, you are most welcome to join in a celebration of his life at a gathering at 1:30pm on Saturday, April 22, at All Souls Unitarian Church on 79th St. & Lexington Avenue in NYC.
