We consider these scholarships to be very important in making sure that deserving players have an opportunity to experience an event like the Northeast Tionól. We had a difficult choice this year, as we had more worthy applicants than we had scholarships available, but we were delighted at the number of young musicians applying!

Our scholarship winners this year are:

  • Female piper scholarship: Stacey Seward of Mt. Pearl, Newfoundland
  • Young piper scholarship: Oliver Zeichner of Northfield, VT
  • Young piper scholarship: Keegan Loesel of Kennett Square, PA
  • Young fiddler scholarship: Yasmina Zeichner of Northfield, VT

If you need a roommate or want to share transportation to East Durham, please use our roommates and ride-sharing blog.

If you’re not staying at Gavin’s but want to eat with everyone in Gavin’s dining hall, here are the prices for each meal: Breakfast $9.95, Lunch $10.95, and Supper $21.95.
