If you ordered a t-shirt, you can pick it up at the event. If you didn't order one, we'll have a limited number of t-shirts for sale at the tionól in a variety of sizes.

We've opened online registration to the 2015 Northeast Tionól. Please visit the Event Registration page for instructions. Be sure to read the Details page first to learn about the workshops we're offering this year. Our reedmaking options are different this year: we'll have a drop-in clinic from 10am to noon on Saturday, but for the rest of the weekend Jim Wenham will offer a two-day intensive reedmaking workshop, limited to 10 participants, that starts Saturday afternoon, picks up on Sunday ...

Hi folks, we're just about ready to open registration, we're waiting for one more bit of information before we can go live. An important note on ivory

This is really important! If you're coming to the tionól from another country (Canada, Ireland, etc.), and your pipes (or your fiddle bow!) has any parts made of ivory, your instrument may be confiscated at the border unless you have the proper documentation. Tighter restrictions have been in place since February 2014 on ivory imports and exports. It’s worth reading up on the new law to understand the risks.
